Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus: Installation and Activation Guide

This guide installs and activates Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus for Windows bought from license4u.co.

1. Uninstall any other Office version via Settings > Apps and restart. Two versions on one PC is the usual reason setup stops.
2. Install from the link in your delivery email. Professional Plus 2019 uses the Office Deployment Tool: run setup.exe /download configuration.xml then setup.exe /configure configuration.xml, with ProPlus2019Volume as the product ID. The configuration file comes with your order.
3. Activate: open Word, go to File > Account, click Change Product Key and enter the 25-character key.
4. Verify that File > Account reads "Product Activated" and lists Office Professional Plus 2019.

Command-line activation

In an administrator Command Prompt inside C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16, run cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:YOUR-KEY and then cscript ospp.vbs /act. cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus confirms the licence state.

If activation fails

Check that the installed edition is Professional Plus 2019 and that the PC has internet access. Otherwise email support@license4u.co with your order number and the /dstatus output.
