This guide installs and activates Microsoft Office 2024 Home and Business for Mac bought from license4u.co.
- Redeem the key at setup.office.com. Sign in with the Microsoft account you want the licence attached to (create one if needed), enter the 25-character key, and the licence is linked to that account.
- Download the installer from the same page or from your Microsoft account's Services & subscriptions section, then open the .pkg and follow the macOS installer.
- Sign in to activate: launch Word, click Sign In and use the same Microsoft account. Office 2024 Home and Business appears under the account name.
- Remove old versions only after the new one is activated; drag Office 2019 or 2021 apps to the Bin if you no longer need them.
If activation fails
Make sure you signed in with the account the key was redeemed to, and that your macOS version is one of the three most recent releases. If Word still shows "Activate Office", sign out under Word > Preferences, sign back in, then email support@license4u.co with your order number if the problem remains.
