Microsoft Visio Professional 2021 installation and activation guide

This guide installs and activates Microsoft Visio Professional 2021 bought from license4u.co.

  1. Match Office's architecture: Word > File > Account > About Word shows 32-bit or 64-bit; install Visio to match.
  2. Install with the Office Deployment Tool from your delivery email: setup.exe /download configuration.xml then setup.exe /configure configuration.xml, with VisioPro2021Volume as the product ID. The configuration file comes with your order.
  3. Activate: open Visio, go to File > Account, click Change Product Key and enter the 25-character key.
  4. Verify that File > Account reads "Product Activated" and Visio Professional 2021.

Command-line activation

From an administrator Command Prompt in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16, run cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:YOUR-KEY and cscript ospp.vbs /act; cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus shows the result.

If setup or activation fails
