Microsoft Project Professional 2021: Installation and Activation Guide

This guide installs and activates Microsoft Project Professional 2021 bought from license4u.co.

1. Check Office's architecture in Word under File > Account > About Word (32-bit or 64-bit) and install the same for Project.
2. Install via the Office Deployment Tool from the link in your delivery email: setup.exe /download configuration.xml then setup.exe /configure configuration.xml, with ProjectPro2021Volume as the product ID. The configuration file is included with your order.
3. Activate: open Project, go to File > Account, click Change Product Key and enter the 25-character key.
4. Verify that File > Account shows "Product Activated" and Project Professional 2021.

Command-line activation

In an administrator Command Prompt inside C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16, run cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:YOUR-KEY then cscript ospp.vbs /act. cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus confirms activation.

If setup or activation fails

An architecture mismatch or a different Office generation on the same PC is the usual cause. Resolve that first; if the error persists, email support@license4u.co with your order number and the /dstatus output.
