Microsoft Project Professional 2024 LTSC: Installation and Activation Guide

This guide installs and activates Microsoft Project Professional 2024 LTSC bought from license4u.co.

1. Check your Office architecture first: open Word, go to File > Account > About Word and note whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. Project must match.
2. Install via the Office Deployment Tool using the link in your delivery email: run setup.exe /download configuration.xml then setup.exe /configure configuration.xml, with ProjectPro2024Volume as the product ID and the matching architecture. The configuration file is supplied with your order.
3. Activate: open Project, go to File > Account, click Change Product Key and enter the 25-character key.
4. Verify that File > Account shows "Product Activated" and Project Professional 2024.

Command-line activation

From an administrator Command Prompt in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16, run cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:YOUR-KEY then cscript ospp.vbs /act. cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus lists every Office licence on the PC, so you can confirm Project is activated alongside Office.

If setup or activation fails

A 32-bit/64-bit mismatch with Office, or an older Office generation on the same PC, causes most failures. Fix that first, then email support@license4u.co with your order number and the /dstatus output if needed.
